Anthony Price is director of Swanbarton, a consultancy business which advises on the development of electrical energy storage, a topic which has become increasingly popular in recent months.

Ben Caldecott is the lead on UK and EU climate change and energy policy at Climate Change Capital (CCC), an environmental investment banking group. Ben is developing CCC’s in-house policy think tank and also advises CCC’s funds and clients on the development of policy-driven markets.

Colin is a consultant specialising in civil /structural engineering with 23 years in the nuclear industry. Until 2010 he was the Operations Director for Halcrow’s Power Business, having previously been the Nuclear Executive Director and Halcrow Group Chief Engineer for nuclear and seismic structures.

Dan Pike is senior policy advisor in the Development Consents & Planning Reform team at the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). He started his career in the energy sector working for the exploration & production company Perenco UK as a process engineer.  

Dave has taken the lead in Atkins support to new power generation build across the UK, and has been Project Director/Project Manager on a number of projects in this developing area.

David Powell is responsible for leading the development of customer relations in the provision of nuclear power plants, fuel and services to customers in the UK. He has 25 years experience in the nuclear sector spending time at Sellafield on the construction of reprocessing and waste management facilities and at Risley on commercial and business development of BNFL’s spent fuel and Mox businesses.

Director of Renewable Services at WSP, holds a PhD in Energy Policy and has written numerous papers on energy markets and renewables. She has extensive world-wide experience advising developers, lenders, governmental departments, regulators, carbon and private equity funds on renewable strategy, renewable project development and climate change issues.

I have worked for Diageo and its ancestor companies for the last 32 years, mainly involved in supporting Scotch Whisky Distillation; during this period I have had various roles from RTD, Process Control, Energy, Risk & Environmental Management.
